An established contractor specialising in groundworks and RC frames is currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a growing portfolio of projects based in Surrey.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment, working on technically challenging schemes.
The Role: - Assisting with cost management and commercial reporting
- Supporting the preparation of valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Working closely with site teams and senior commercial staff
- Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management
- Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and commercial targets are met
Requirements: - Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor
- Background in groundworks and/or RC frame projects is essential
- Strong understanding of construction cost control and commercial processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ambitious, detail-oriented, and eager to progress within the industry
