A well established contractor operating within the Groundworks and Civil Engineering sector is currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their senior operational team, based out of the Chesire office.
This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing multiple projects, ensuring safe delivery, commercial performance, and strong client relationships across the region.
The Role: - Managing multiple contracts from preconstruction through to completion
- Overseeing site teams, project managers, and subcontractors
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Monitoring commercial performance, risk, and programme delivery
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, HSEQ standards, and industry regulations
- Reporting on project performance to senior management
Requirements: - Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role
- Background in civil engineering and/or utilities projects
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent commercial awareness and contract knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple projects across different locations
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
