I'm currently working with a leading residential groundworks contractors who are looking to strengthen their engineering team with the appointment of an experienced Site Engineer.
With a strong pipeline of long-term residential developments across Northamptonshire and the surrounding region, this is an excellent opportunity to join a well established contractor known for delivering high quality infrastructure and groundworks packages for some of the country's biggest housebuilders.
The Role As Site Engineer, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of multiple residential groundworks projects, ensuring works are carried out safely, accurately and to programme.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting out for roads, sewers, drainage, foundations and external works.
- Managing quality assurance and completing as-built surveys.
- Interpreting technical drawings and ensuring works are delivered to specification.
- Liaising with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors to coordinate works.
- Maintaining accurate site records and engineering documentation.
- Carrying out site surveys and resolving technical issues as they arise.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.
About You
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer within residential groundworks.
- Strong knowledge of roads, sewers, drainage and infrastructure packages.
- Competent using Leica or Trimble surveying equipment.
- Experience producing QA documentation and as-built records.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- CSCS card essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
