We’re currently working with a leading regional residential developer and regeneration contractor who are looking to appoint a Health & Safety Manager to join their growing team in Kent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced H&S professional to take ownership of health and safety across a variety of residential and mixed-use construction projects – both new build and refurbishment – across the South East.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead on all health & safety matters across live construction sites and office environment
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, internal procedures, and current legislation
- Conduct site audits, inspections, toolbox talks and training
- Work closely with site and project teams to promote a proactive safety culture
- Review and approve RAMS and safe systems of work
- Investigate incidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are followed up
- Maintain all internal H&S systems, reports and KPIs
Requirements: - NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) – minimum requirement
- Previous experience working in a residential contracting or housebuilding environment
- Strong understanding of H&S law, CDM regulations and construction best practice
- Excellent communication, coaching and influencing skills
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with site teams
