We are currently working with a well established and respected civil engineering and infrastructure contractor who are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple schemes across Bedfordshire and the wider Home Counties.
This role would suit a Project Manager with a strong background in infrastructure and civil engineering, capable of managing projects from prestart through to completion while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and commercial performance.
The Role: - Managing infrastructure projects from pre-construction through to handover
- Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
- Programming works and monitoring progress against programme
- Managing client relationships and acting as the main point of contact
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Working closely with commercial teams to control costs and variations
- Overseeing quality control and compliance with specifications and standards
- Reporting progress to senior management
The Ideal Candidate: - Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering /infrastructure
- Strong understanding of highways, drainage, utilities and associated infrastructure works
- Experience working across multiple sites or schemes
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Strong health & safety awareness
- Ability to manage programmes and budgets effectively
