Quantity Surveyor - Interior Fit Out - Suffolk Quantity Surveyor required with a leading Interior fit out contractor, for office and site based work.
About the client: We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Interior fit out and joinery contractor who operate in the Suffolk area but also operate in various locations in the UK. They are mainly involved with joinery, bespoke interior fixtures and fittings, and full interior fit out services for commercial, residential, and other sectors.
About the role: With the role of Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in the commercial management of projects from preconstruction through to final account. You’ll work closely with project teams, supply chain partners, and clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably.
Key Responsibilities: - Commercial management of joinery and interior fit out projects.
- Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Procurement and management of subcontract packages.
- Supporting project teams with commercial advice and reporting.
- Building strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
Qualifications: - 2–6 years experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
- Joinery background preferred, but transferable experience from other construction sectors is welcomed.
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- Confident communicator, comfortable working both on site and at head office.
- Proactive, organised, and keen to develop within a specialist contractor environment.
