We’re supporting a well-established and respected civil engineering contractor in the West Midlands, looking to expand their commercial team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor. The company delivers a variety of infrastructure schemes, with a strong focus on S278 works, highways improvements, and enabling infrastructure for both public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities: - Commercial management of Section 278 schemes, highway realignments, and public realm works
- Cost planning, budgeting, and cost reporting across multiple live sites
- Subcontractor procurement and supply chain management
- Monthly CVRs, forecasting, and risk management
- Preparing interim and final accounts, valuations, and variations
- Client liaison and support during project reviews and audits
- Collaboration with delivery teams to ensure cost-effective project delivery
Requirements: - Experience working with a civils or infrastructure contractor, ideally with exposure to S278 and public highway schemes
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts and commercial processes
- Confident managing multiple packages and subcontractors
- Experience with works involving drainage, kerbing, surfacing, and junction improvements
- Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Full UK driving licence – site visits across the region will be required
