I’m currently working with a leading contractor who are looking to bring in an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support a strong pipeline of projects across London.
This is a great opportunity to join a busy commercial team working across groundworks, RC Frame, civils and infrastructure schemes, with exposure to complex and high value projects.
The Role - Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account
- Preparing and managing valuations, variations and cost reporting (CVRs)
- Supporting commercial strategy and cost control across multiple projects
- Working closely with site teams to ensure commercial performance and delivery
- Managing change control, risk and contract compliance (NEC/JCT)
- Assisting with procurement and tender processes where required
What They’re Looking For - 5+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction
- Strong background in groundworks, civils, RC frame or infrastructure
- Good understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts
- Experience managing subcontractor accounts and variations
- Commercially aware with strong negotiation and communication skills
- Able to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
