I’m currently working with a leading contractor who are looking to bring in an experienced Senior Estimator to join their work winning team and play a key role in securing major civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys both the technical side of estimating and supporting the development of a growing team.
The Role - Leading the preparation of high quality, first principles estimates
- Reviewing incoming tenders and identifying risks, opportunities and value engineering options
- Producing BoQs, quantity take offs and detailed cost plans
- Analysing subcontractor and supplier returns
- Supporting tender submissions, adjudications and client meetings
- Mentoring and developing junior estimators
What I’m Looking For - 5+ years’ experience in groundworks, civils, RC frame, drainage or similar
- Proven track record pricing multi million pound packages
- Strong understanding of measurement methods (SMM7 or similar)
- Experience using Bluebeam, ACC Take-Off or similar tools
- Commercially aware with strong numerical and analytical skills
- Collaborative and proactive approach
