I'm currently working with a leading specialist contractor who has built an outstanding reputation for delivering complex Groundworks, RC Frame and Basement projects across London and the South East. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Planner to join their preconstruction team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business where planning plays a key role in project delivery from tender stage through to completion.
The Role As Planner, you will be responsible for producing and maintaining construction programmes across multiple projects while working closely with estimating, commercial and operational teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing tender and contract programmes using Asta Powerproject.
- Developing construction methodologies and sequencing.
- Monitoring project progress and updating programmes.
- Identifying programme risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
- Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers and Site Teams.
- Supporting pre-construction activities and client presentations where required.
About You
- Previous experience as a Planner within Groundworks, RC Frame or Civil Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and project delivery.
- Proficient with Asta Powerproject.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple programmes simultaneously.
- Experience working on projects across London and the South East is desirable.
