Senior Quantity Surveyor – Commercial – London Senior Quantity Surveyor required with a leading construction contractor, for office and site-based work on large scale projects across London.

About the role: As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full responsibility for the commercial and financial management of major construction projects from feasibility through to final account. Acting as a key financial advisor, you will lead procurement, contract administration, and cost control activities while mentoring junior team members and managing client and stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities: - Full commercial management of large construction projects from inception to completion.
- Cost planning, forecasting, and budget management.
- Procurement strategy, tendering, and subcontractor management.
- Contract administration and ensuring contractual compliance.
- Value engineering, risk management, and cost mitigation.
- Managing final accounts and commercial close out.
- Leading and mentoring junior commercial staff.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related, RICS-accredited discipline.
- MRICS qualified or nearing completion.
- Minimum 5 years’ UK consultancy experience.
- Strong technical knowledge and contract administration expertise.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable leading projects independently and advising clients at a senior level.
