About the client: We are recruiting on behalf of a main contractor, delivering large scale residential, commercial, and mixed use developments across the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join the team on a major residential development in London.
About the role: You will be a key member of the site management team, taking technical responsibility for engineering works on a large, complex residential scheme. The role will involve managing and coordinating engineering activities from groundworks through to structural completion.
Key Responsibilities - Setting out and overseeing works including piling, groundworks, and RC frame.
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, and programme.
- Managing junior engineers and subcontractors on site.
- Quality control, inspections, and technical problem solving.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Liaising closely with site management, consultants, and design teams.
Qualifications: - Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Senior or Site Engineer on large residential or mixed use developments.
- Strong background in piling, groundworks, and reinforced concrete frame construction.
- Confident leader with excellent technical and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and take ownership of engineering delivery.
