With a strong pipeline of mixed-use, office, retail, and hospitality work, they are looking to expand their field leadership team with a driven Assistant Superintendent ready to take the next step in their career.
Position Summary:
The Assistant Superintendent will support the lead Superintendent in overseeing daily site operations, subcontractor coordination, safety enforcement, and schedule execution. This role offers strong mentorship, clear upward mobility, and the opportunity to work on high-visibility projects that shape the Austin skyline.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing day-to-day onsite construction activities
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and equipment
• Enforce site safety policies and ensure OSHA compliance
• Maintain project schedule and track daily progress
• Conduct site walkthroughs, inspections, and reporting
• Support quality control and punch list processes

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a field-based commercial construction role
• Experience on mixed commercial projects (office, retail, hospitality, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, safety standards, and scheduling
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documents
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, or similar field management tools is a plus
