Job Title: Superintendent – DSA (Education & Public Works) Location: Sacramento, CA
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee DSA-regulated education and public works projects in the Sacramento area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing K–12 or higher education projects and be well-versed in DSA compliance, inspections, and quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage on-site construction activities for DSA education and public works projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, and inspectors to ensure compliance with DSA regulations
• Develop and maintain project schedules, safety plans, and daily reports
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and Inspectors of Record (IOR)
• Conduct site meetings, oversee quality assurance, and manage punch list completion
• Ensure adherence to project budget, schedule, and quality goals
• Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce OSHA and DSA standards

Qualifications:

• 5–10+ years of superintendent experience with at least 4 years on DSA projects
• Proven success managing K–12 or higher education construction
• In-depth understanding of DSA inspection processes and documentation requirements
• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project/Primavera
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
