Superintendent – DSA Projects Location: Riverside, CA
About the Role:
Our client, a reputable general contractor specializing in K–12 and higher-education construction, is seeking an experienced Superintendent with strong DSA (Division of the State Architect) experience to lead ground-up and modernization projects across Riverside County. This position is ideal for a field leader who thrives in an educational environment and understands the nuances of DSA-governed work.
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day field operations for DSA projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials, inspections, and site logistics.
• Maintain daily reports, RFI tracking, and documentation required for DSA compliance.
• Work closely with the project manager, architect, and DSA inspector to ensure accurate communication and timely approvals.
• Conduct site meetings and proactively identify issues to keep the project moving efficiently.
• Enforce company safety program and jobsite protocols.

Qualifications:

• 5–10+ years of construction field experience, including DSA K–12 or higher-education projects.
• Proven track record managing schedules and subcontractor performance on complex jobs.
• Strong knowledge of DSA processes, inspections, and documentation requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• OSHA 30 preferred.
