Project Engineer – Electrical Contractor Location: Los Angeles, CA

Position Overview A growing electrical contractor in Los Angeles is seeking a Project Engineer to support project management and field operations on commercial electrical construction projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a Project Manager position.
Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project operations
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, and document control
• Track material procurement and delivery schedules
• Help manage change orders and job cost tracking
• Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and general contractors
• Maintain project documentation in Procore or similar platforms
• Attend project meetings and assist with schedule updates

Qualifications

• 1–4+ years of experience in electrical or commercial construction
• Understanding of electrical systems and construction processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore, MS Office
