Position Overview A reputable commercial electrical contractor in Los Angeles is hiring an Electrical Project Manager to lead complex commercial and institutional projects. This role is responsible for full lifecycle project execution, financial performance, and client coordination on mid-to-large scale electrical scopes.
Key Responsibilities Project & Field Leadership

• Manage electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee field teams, superintendents, and subcontractor coordination
• Ensure schedule milestones and installation quality are achieved

Financial Management

• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
• Track job costs, commitments, and productivity
• Lead change order pricing, negotiations, and contract administration
• Maintain profitability across multiple active projects

Technical Coordination

• Manage scopes including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
• Coordinate with general contractor, MEP trades, and design teams
• Participate in value engineering and constructability reviews

Client Relations

• Serve as main point of contact for GCs and owners
• Lead OAC meetings and internal project reviews
• Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years PM experience with a commercial electrical contractor
• Experience managing medium to large commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes
• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Excel
• Strong communication and leadership skills
