Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team and manage the estimation process for large-scale curtain wall projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial glazing, with expertise in estimating and pricing curtain wall systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for large-scale curtain wall projects, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop comprehensive estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing information and scope of work.
• Conduct site visits and evaluate project requirements to ensure accurate cost projections.
• Provide value engineering recommendations and cost-saving solutions.
• Track and manage project bid submissions, ensuring timely delivery of estimates.
• Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and technological advancements in curtain wall systems.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial glazing, with a focus on curtain wall systems.
• Strong knowledge of glazing materials, curtain wall systems, and construction processes.
• Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with project teams and clients.
