We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our clients team at a leading glass and metal contractor in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with project managers to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Experience in the glass and metal industry is required.

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret blueprints and project specifications
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for glass and metal projects
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for pricing and lead times
• Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals
• Maintain strong communication with project managers and clients

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
• Knowledge of glass and metal materials, systems, and installation processes
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Proficiency in estimating software
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
