We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Project Manager to lead and oversee complex mechanical construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a strong background in construction management, project coordination, and technical expertise in mechanical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Duties

• Lead the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and specifications.
• Experience working on projects up to $20M would be desired.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate seamless project flow and resolve any issues promptly.
• Develop detailed project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation of design intent.
• Oversee site activities on construction sites with a focus on safety compliance, quality control, and adherence to project plans.
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify work quality and ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports, change orders, and project documentation for stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective project management by prioritizing tasks through time management techniques and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Engage in contract negotiations and manage contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction management with a focus on mechanical systems; prior heavy civil or infrastructure experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings related to mechanical systems.
• Experience with construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid; ability to develop accurate cost projections.
• Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills combined with effective communication abilities for project coordination among diverse teams.
• Ability to interpret contracts, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
• Knowledge of relevant software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Construction management software platforms, and other project management tools.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
• A relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management is preferred; certifications in Project Management (PMP) or related fields are a plus.
