Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Multifamily Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of ground-up multifamily construction projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multifamily construction, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead the full project lifecycle including preconstruction, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor procurement, construction oversight, and project closeout
- Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure project goals and quality standards are met
- Oversee and mentor project teams including Assistant PMs, Superintendents, and support staff
- Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols
- Manage subcontractor relationships and ensure contractual compliance
- Conduct regular site visits and project meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
- Utilize project management software to track progress and reporting
- Ensure project delivery meets all regulatory and building code requirements
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of project management experience in ground-up multifamily construction
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and budgeting
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and other construction-related software
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
