Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site operations for our commercial construction projects in the Houston area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing field activities, ensuring quality control, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and coordinating subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and labor forces.
• Maintain project schedule and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Ensure quality standards are upheld across all phases of construction.
• Work closely with project management, architects, engineers, and inspectors.
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress updates.
• Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Manage site logistics, including equipment, materials, and deliveries.
• Identify and resolve field issues and conflicts quickly and effectively.
• Maintain daily job site reports and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices, scheduling, and safety regulations.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with ground-up commercial, mixed-use, or interior build-outs.
• Local Houston market knowledge is a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
