Job Title: Project Executive – Electrical Construction Location: Chatsworth, Los Angeles, CA
Position Summary: We are seeking a highly accomplished Project Executive to join a rapidly growing electrical contracting firm based in Chatsworth. This individual will oversee multiple commercial and industrial projects, leading teams of Project Managers and support staff to ensure operational excellence. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both estimating and project management, with the ability to step into a Vice President role within the next year.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide executive-level oversight for multiple electrical construction projects across commercial and industrial sectors
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers and project teams to ensure alignment with company goals
• Oversee project estimating efforts, including bid strategy, budgeting, takeoffs, and subcontractor/vendor negotiations
• Drive execution of project schedules, budgets, and financial reporting to meet or exceed performance goals
• Serve as the primary liaison with key clients, consultants, and stakeholders, building long-term relationships
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk management
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements on all projects
• Support business development initiatives and represent the company in client pursuits
• Transition into a Vice President-level role within 12–18 months, contributing to executive decision-making and company growth

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in electrical construction with a focus on commercial and industrial projects
• At least 5 years of leadership experience overseeing multiple Project Managers and large project teams
• Strong background in both project management and estimating for electrical scopes
• Proven success managing multi-million-dollar projects ($10M–$100M+)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
• Proficiency with construction software such as Procore, Accubid, Bluebeam, and MS Project
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred
