Job Title: Project Manager – Commercial Construction
Position Summary: We are looking for a proven Project Manager with strong experience in commercial construction to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate excels at managing schedules, budgets, and subcontractors while maintaining strong relationships with clients, design teams, and field personnel. This role requires a proactive leader who can deliver high-quality results on fast-paced, technically complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and closeout
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to ensure alignment on goals, scope, and expectations
  • Oversee subcontractor selection, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations
  • Monitor project performance, proactively resolving issues related to cost, schedule, or quality
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and change orders
  • Lead project meetings and ensure clear communication among all stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols throughout the life of the project
  • Support field teams in coordination and logistical planning
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget, while exceeding client expectations
Qualifications:
  • 5–10 years of experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Proven track record delivering office, retail, mixed-use, tenant improvement (TI), or ground-up commercial buildings
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgets, and CPM scheduling
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • OSHA 30 certification a plus
Preferred Experience:
  • Projects ranging from $5M to $50M+
  • Ground-up and interior build-out experience
  • Work in occupied buildings or fast-track delivery environments
  • LEED or sustainable building practices exposure
