They are seeking a Senior Curtain Wall Designer to lead the end-to-end execution of complex building envelope and curtain wall design projects. This individual will coordinate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors while ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements are met.

Role Overview The Senior Curtain Wall Designer will create detailed designs for building envelopes, fenestration systems, unitized curtain wall systems, window systems, and other architectural elements. The role requires advanced CAD skills and the ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings to produce accurate shop drawings, BIM data, and project documentation.
This position works closely with the Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities

• Complete complex architectural system designs using CAD software
• Develop die and system designs for assigned projects
• Create embed plans, elevations, shop drawing details, and related documents
• Generate BIM data when required
• Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications
• Ensure adherence to company processes, standards, and industry regulations
• Minimal travel

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 10+ years experience designing building envelopes and fenestration systems
• 5+ years experience specifically in unitized curtain wall design
• Strong understanding of structural, thermal, and material performance properties
• Ability to read/interpret architectural & structural drawings, specs, and bid documents
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
