Senior Design Lead/Manager - Facade Contractor (Commercial & High-End Residential)

Are you a creative problem-solver with a deep understanding of architectural facades and a passion for design excellence? A leading facade contractor with over 15 years of industry expertise is seeking a Senior Design Lead to join our Los Angeles team.
We specialize in delivering cutting-edge facade systems for commercial and high-end residential projects across Southern California. Our portfolio includes collaborations with top-tier architects and developers, and we’re known for bringing complex visions to life through innovative solutions and meticulous execution.
�� What You’ll Do:

• Lead the design development of facade systems from concept through fabrication and installation
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, GC teams, and internal project managers
• Oversee and mentor junior designers and drafters
• Ensure design intent aligns with budgets, materials, and constructability constraints
• Develop and review detailed shop drawings and submittals
• Stay current on facade technologies, materials, and code requirements

�� What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of experience in facade design or a related architectural/engineering field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, and/or other 3D modeling tools
• Strong technical understanding of facade assemblies, building envelopes, and materials
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience with commercial and high-end residential projects preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
