Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior Project Manager to lead
commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for
managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, subcontractors, and client relationships. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, financial management, and a deep understanding of commercial construction operations. The ideal candidate is proactive, client-focused, and capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management & Delivery - Manage all phases of construction projects including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, execution, and closeout.
- Lead project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Oversee and manage subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
- Develop project-specific plans, logistics, safety strategies, and quality assurance measures.
Financial Oversight & Risk Management - Establish and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow analysis.
- Review and negotiate change orders, subcontractor invoices, and client billing.
- Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies to minimize exposure.
Client & Stakeholder Relations - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and project consultants.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project meetings, reporting, and progress presentations.
Leadership & Team Development - Lead and mentor project engineers, assistant project managers, and field staff.
- Promote a collaborative project team culture emphasizing accountability, communication, and performance.
- Support company goals for professional development, safety, quality, and client service.
Qualifications: Education & Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management.
- Proven experience delivering ground-up, tenant improvement, healthcare, life science, or public works projects.
Technical Skills: - Strong understanding of project delivery methods, cost management, and construction contracts.
- Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schedules, and technical documents.
