Job Title: Senior Superintendent – Healthcare Construction Location: Los Angeles, CA
Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Superintendent to manage field operations for major healthcare construction projects in Los Angeles. This position requires extensive experience with hospital and medical facility construction, including strict compliance with HCAI/OSHPD regulations and infection control protocols. The Senior Superintendent will be responsible for all on-site activities, subcontractor coordination, safety enforcement, and maintaining project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily field operations for large-scale healthcare projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and field staff to ensure work is executed to plan
• Maintain full compliance with HCAI/OSHPD and ICRA standards
• Develop and manage site logistics, safety protocols, and phasing plans in occupied facilities
• Monitor schedules and proactively address potential delays
• Conduct daily meetings with field staff and subcontractors
• Maintain detailed daily reports and ensure quality control throughout construction
• Serve as the main on-site contact for the client, design team, and healthcare facility representatives

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of construction experience, with at least 7 years as a Superintendent on healthcare projects
• Successful completion of hospital or medical facility projects $50M+
• Expertise in HCAI/OSHPD processes, inspections, and documentation requirements
• Proven ability to manage multi-phase, occupied facility work in high-pressure environments
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling tools (MS Project or Primavera)
• OSHA 30 certification required; ICRA training/certification strongly preferred
