Job Title: Senior Superintendent – Healthcare Construction Location: Los Angeles, CA
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee field operations on complex healthcare construction projects throughout the Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of HCAI/OSHPD regulations, infection control procedures (ICRA), and experience managing construction within operational hospital environments. This position requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all field operations for healthcare projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Coordinate subcontractors, inspectors, and field staff to maintain safety, quality, and schedule compliance
• Enforce compliance with HCAI/OSHPD, ICRA, and healthcare-specific construction protocols
• Manage logistics, phasing plans, and infection control for active hospital environments
• Conduct daily site meetings, generate progress reports, and maintain clear documentation
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and healthcare administrators
• Drive safety culture and ensure adherence to all company and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience with at least 7 years in healthcare projects
• Expertise in HCAI/OSHPD compliance and infection control (ICRA) procedures
• Proven record of managing large, multi-phase hospital or healthcare facility builds ($50M–$200M+)
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera)
• OSHA 30 certification required; ICRA training preferred
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
