Job Title: Superintendent – Medical Construction
Location: West Hollywood, CA
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations on a medical construction project in West Hollywood. This role requires deep knowledge of healthcare construction standards, including infection control protocols (ICRA), OSHPD/HCAI requirements, and the ability to manage complex logistics within operational or urban environments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who prioritizes safety, quality, and schedule, while maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day site activities for a healthcare project, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance
• Coordinate subcontractors, field staff, vendors, and inspectors to ensure efficient and safe site operations
• Enforce infection control measures, ICRA procedures, and HCAI/OSHPD requirements throughout the project
• Conduct daily field reports, subcontractor coordination meetings, and schedule reviews
• Ensure project is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with plans, specs, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with Project Manager, client representatives, architects, and engineers to resolve field issues and maintain progress
• Monitor and maintain site logistics, access, deliveries, and traffic control in a busy urban environment
• Lead site safety meetings and ensure full compliance with OSHA and internal safety protocols

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent, with a minimum of 3 years on medical/healthcare projects
• Strong knowledge of OSHPD/HCAI processes, ICRA standards, and hospital construction best practices
• Demonstrated ability to manage ground-up or renovation healthcare projects in occupied or constrained environments
• Proficiency with field technology including Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software (MS Project or similar)
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
• OSHA 30 certification required; ICRA certification preferred
• Experience with union trades in Los Angeles a plus
